Some videos streaming websites are placing advertisements or sponsored links on their webpages and videos player.

Usually, such sites are showing ads to get an income revenue to pay for an expensive bandwidth fee, as videos stream is expensive for hosting.


From the different videos streaming sites we have listed here at howtowatch.info, some are currently showing different kind of adverts, or no ads at all.
As many people can get confused about how to start the video, and sometimes, as a misunderstand, a user can end up to a third party site, from and advert or sponsored site. Howtowatch.info is here to guide you about such issues, as we are explaining and showing the way to bypass and/or close adverts in order to continue to watch the video streaming.

Example for NOVAMOV: an advert or sponsored link is shown in front of the video player. (you need to close it, and press the play button ton start watching the video).

Example for NOWVIDEO: one or two (usually two) adverts or sponsored links are shown in front of the video player. (you need to close it, and press the play button ton start watching the video).

Example for PLAYED.TO: a big banner advert or sponsored link is shown, it can looks like the video player, but it is not. (below this banner, you will se a button: "continue to video", you have to click it in order to continue to the video player).

Example for NOSVIDEO: a big banner advert or sponsored link is shown, it can looks like the video player, but it is not. (close to this this banner, on the right side, you will se a button: "continue to video", you have to click it in order to continue to the video player).

Example for VODLOCKER: a big banner advert or sponsored link is shown, it can looks like the video player, but it is not. (below this banner, you will se a button: "proceed to video", you have to click it in order to continue to the video player).

2nd Example for VODLOCKER: once you've clicked the button: "proceed to video", you'll be redirected to the video streaming page, an advert or sponsored link is shown in front of the video player. (you need to close it, and press the play button ton start watching the video).

Example for FILEHOOT: Filehoot use approximately the same adverts or sponsored links than Vodlocker, with a button showing: "continue to watch your video" (instead of "proceed to video" for Vodlocker).

Example for Videoweed: (FOR EMBED LINKS, embed links can also be showed with other streaming players than Videoweed) This is an example of "Embed link", it means this is the video streaming link, you have to copy and paste it into your browser to start watching the video.

Example for FIREDRIVE: an advert or sponsored link is shown in front of the video player, and below you'll see a button showing: "Continue to file", and you have to click this button to continue to the video player.

2nd Example for FIREDRIVE: once the player is launched, it can show another similar advert in front of the video player, just click the play button to start watching the video.
